amera al ali

Amera is a healing practitioner, movement guide, and sound meditation facilitator. Her mission is to be in service to community by honoring the individual unfolding of her students embodied experiences, and weaving community together in a healing, honest, and sustainable way.

Her teaching style is nourished by her own spiritual gifts and practice, and inspired by the intricacies of body science, bioenergetics, polarity, the art of nature, and vibrational science. She curates healing experiences and sessions focused on refining and nurturing the nervous system, and attuning those in the space to the subtle energy and vibration that gives life to the body.

Movement and sound healing sessions with Amera are invitations to return to the divine wholeness of self through guided nervous system regulation. Each experience is unique - it is an opportunity to receive and reclaim the internal harmony she believes everyone can access through breathwork, intentional movement, sound healing, or simply by being held in a loving network of care and consideration in community.

Amera is also a registered nurse and life support educator with nearly a decade of intensive care nursing experience. The fragility of life and the importance of equitable collective care deeply influences Amera's healing work.

Amera is the founder of the Climbers for Palestine Chicago chapter (@climbersforpalestine_chi) and committed to equitable healing justice for indigenous peoples everywhere.
